The initial purpose of this page was to promote a digital marketing opportunity with Done-For-You courses. However, I couldn't stop at just offering this course. I'd love to share my other interests, hobbies and talents.

Thailand
My older son and I spent two weeks in Thailand in May of 2023. It was an amazing trip with lots of beautiful memories. Another favorite travel destination of mine is Costa Rica.
My Story
There is SO much on the internet these days and it's often overwhelming. There are a lot of scammers that make it harder to navigate and interact with others in a safe and trusting way.
Besides these hobbies and interests, I love spending time with my family. I have a husband of 21 years and two boys, aged 20 and 18. We have a pet rabbit named Ollie.
One of my goals is to move my family to an acreage or small farm just outside of Edmonton, Alberta. I'm looking forward to one day trading the hustle bustle of city life to the tranquil and peaceful country life. It's going to happen.....hopefully sooner rather than later!

Supporting Children's Literacy
As a Special Needs Educational Assistant for the past 13 years, I have worked with many students to teach them the foundational skills of reading. I am passionate about helping children develop strong skills in reading and writing. I'm available to offer my skills to help support your child's needs.
I offer free consultations, to see if we would be a good fit. Currently, I am available on evenings and weekends. We can talk over Zoom or Facebook Video.

Hard at Play (I mean Work!)
I started my career with administration in banking. I was an Executive Assistant for several Vice Presidents. After having two children, I felt pulled to change career paths.
I went back to school to take the Special Needs Educational Assistant Program at MacEwan University. I found my passion working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 9, but I primarily love working with children who are learning to read and/or who have learning challenges.
Speaking of Dreams....
A dream that I've had for many years is to move out of the city and onto an acreage or small farm. I'd love to have three goats, and I already have them named! (Skippy, Scooter & Skittles)
I'd love to use goats milk in my
soap-making recipes too!
We would also have dogs, chickens, rabbits and a donkey. Maybe a couple horses and a couple cows.

My Backyard City Garden
Meet my beautiful garden, which I plant every year. My mother-in-law taught me how to garden almost 25 years ago. I'm very fortunate to have a large backyard, where I can plant a pretty large garden every year.
I grow carrots, tomatoes, peas, lettuce, cucumbers, yellow beans, onions, peppers, zucchini and potatoes. In the back I have loads of raspberry bushes. We share a lot of our bounty, but I also enjoy freezing and canning.
When I'm on an acreage, I'll most definitely need a large garden. I've always loved the idea of homesteading.
